Business partners who have a bad day and then take it out on you - actually hunt you down to rant at you. 

Leaving something at a hotel and pretty much knowing that you won't get it back.

It being all dark and rainy when I want it to be sunny (I feel SAD coming on again!)

Knowing you really do need to clean all three fishtanks but really really wanting to put it off for a bit....

children kicking our office door until the alarm goes off, the police attend, the alarm company makes me wait three hours for attendance and we have to pay good money for wasting everyones time.

people driving slowly who have to speed up when you go to overtake them, then slow down again when they've prevented you overtaking.

phone calls from people who mean to be nice but keep on and on and on and on and on about stuff which you'd really rather not discuss with them however much you know they care about you.

needing a hug really bad but being an hour from the nearest person who's actually not doing something else tonight and being abandoned by even the cats. I wonder if fish are good to hug? I've taken to sleeping with my old teddy at the moment :)

Ah lets just go for a simple one.  He's still flicking channels.  Grrrrrr.

More nasty things

People who throw cigarette butts out of their car windows (pollute your own car idiot, not the environment for the rest of us)

Finding a grey hair. It doesn't happen that often thank god but it really sets my day off to a good start (that's called sarcasm for those of you who aren't english)

Half of the UK being flooded while the other half  suffers stupidly hot drought-style weather - can we go back to when it was all evened out?

More things that piss me off

#2 - websites which you think are reputable (eg; Reuters), who offer layered ads which don't close when you hit the close button but open the ad instead..

It might be a FF positioning issue and the ads are from doubleclick I think but if you put them on your site then it's your site that annoys me.

#3 -  'open here' wrip-lines on sachets which don't let the contents out unless you open them half an inch lower

No explanation necessary

#4 - double glazing salespeople who refuse to believe you don't want it.

Some of us do not want to live in  hermatically sealed houses. Phoning at 8.30 on a Sunday morning doesn't help your sales pitch  either.
 

things that piss me off #1

(I'm thinking this could be a long series).

Anyhow -

#1 - People who hand code a sig link in a forum post or blog comment when the site owner clearly doesn't wish people to have sig lines.

Why? - it makes you look like an idiot and irritates the person who has to delete it. What on earth do you think it gains you? People won't think "ooh look - I think I'll go do business with this clueless dick".  Au contraire Rod-ney.
