wow - I wish I'd thought of this - it's one of those ideas that might just take off and earn someone some money. Playboy have had the brilliant idea of offering porn online.

How come no-one else has thought of that?

Oh and obviously people will only read it for the articles.

I can't believe people are describing them as fat - that's worrying. In fact some of them are gorgeous.  Ah mayby I just think women should have curves - but in all honesty if you think the blond one's fat you have a huge problem :)

Seriously,  this is a great use of a database if you need *ahem* this type of customer service.

A woman has developed a product for the adult online industry which enables you to build scenarios

and avoid repetition with an extensive (and presumably dedicated to certain areas) online thesaurus. Now that you need if you're discussing sex with a stranger on the phone for an average 32 minutes (wow - she's good!) while doing your ironing.

How on earth can she talk dirty to someone on the phone for 32 minutes and not giggle though?

Flying Paws

I'm sitting here this morning reading the travel press (yeah I made it into the office but I'm having problems with the starting proper work thing) and there's an article about the new Virgin Atlantic Flying Paws reward scheme. 

"The jet setting pets on their very first Virgin flight will be given a welcome onboard pet pack, which has been specially designed with their needs in mind. Dogs will be given an exclusive Virgin doggy t-shirt and sparkling dog tag, cats wll receive a toy mouse called 'Red' and a Virgin collar tag and ferrets will receive a very cool limited edition flying jacket and collar tag"

Naturally I went straight to the Virgin site to check it out but sadly no pictures of the ferrets as yet.

Thankfully this service is available only on certain internal US flights and to Johannesburg from the US. I have bookmarked the page so that next time I'm booking internal US flights I can make sure not to book on Virgin and therefore guarantee I will not be seated next to Paris Hilton.

When I was doing internal flights in China I was sat across the aisle from a lady with a chicken once (I have flight horror stories you wouldn't believe one day I may write a book).  I think that was more of a practicality issue than a fashion statement but I can't help feeling that I should contact Virgin and suggest they make the link with my previous post about chicken clothing and their chinese flights and ask for an introduction fee.

Pizza perfection.

Our local independent Pizza company does great pizza, way better than those nasty Pizza Hut type things and hugely nicer than the horrible Famous Moes which we tried once and have sworn never to go back to, even if men with pointy sticks try and make us.

They're called Wonkey Donkey and they have decent food on the menu like  stuffed mushrooms and vegetarian cannelloni and the most garlicy garlic bread oozing butter and coming in half french stick sizes. Yummy.

But the absolute best bit is that they do pizza without the tomatoe puree base and with garlic sauce base instead. Or at least they used to but I phoned them this evening and ordered one (for the first time in a while since I've been working my way through the pasta menu for the last few orders) and they've STOPPED doing it!

She must have heard the whimper in my voice though since she said she'd make one especially for me.

Not that we ever go anywhere else for delivery pizza anyway but that's brilliant customer service. Even if they are so busy that she said it would take an hour to deliver (see - even on a busy night they're going to do it :) )

Anyhow, they don't have a website and I very much doubt that anyone who'll ever read this will be in the area but if you ever get to Sussex,  give them a try - they'll make up your order and provide it uncooked so you can bung it in the oven when you get home if it's easier.  They are truly the saints of pizza and deserve all the recommendations they get.

The Election Hamper

I think I have better things to be doing on election night than having a picnic but I admire the blend of cheek and marketing that inspired this Election Hamper from Forman and Field - who sell very yummy food - well worth a try ;).

It wouldn’t be election night without a few porky pies (Blair, Lab, Sedgefield, maj 17,713).
